Taylor Scott

Rising Star of the Year

Taylor K. Scott (she/her) is a recent transplant to the city of Cincinnati and hails from both Houston, Texas and Shreveport, Louisiana. Taylor received her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Theatre Design & Production from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor in 2023. While she currently works as a research & development process engineer for Procter & Gamble, she is also working towards her master’s degree in cosmetic science from the University of Cincinnati. In addition to her schoolwork and profession, Taylor currently serves as the National Chairperson for the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). As National Chair, Taylor has the esteemed honor of leading NSBE into its 50th anniversary and establishing the framework to forge a golden future for NSBE. She is passionate about equitable education for youth as well as housing and food security. Taylor is also an advocate for diverse representation in the consumer goods sector. Taylor is appreciative of this honor of being selected as Rising Star of the Year.
