Mrs. Pamela L. Williams-Dyle
Engineer of the Year
Pamela L. Williams Dyle has had a love of science since her teenage years, when a high school chemistry class sparked a passion. This passion is evident in the Periodic Table of The Elements she has framed as artwork as well as through her educational pursuits. Pamela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Oberlin College, Oberlin, OH, a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis; where her research was in the “Flow Characteristics of Encapsulated Particles.”
Pamela is currently the Upstream Process & Engineering Senior Director in Procter & Gamble’s Personal Healthcare business. In this role, she is responsible for technology development and innovation for brands such as Metamucil, Vicks, ZzzQuill. Pamela is a visionary, strategic leader skilled in developing and implementing comprehensive systems to solve technical and organizational problems. She has 25 years of experience working in multiple Procter & Gamble business units (Dish Detergents, Diapers, Facial & Bath Tissue, Paper Towel, Beauty Products), divisions (Engineering, Manufacturing) and cultures (Europe, Asia, North America).
At Procter & Gamble, Pamela is a recipient of the 2019 Product Supply African Ancestry Leadership Network (AALN) Engineering Transformational Leader Award, 2012 Global Baby Care Process & Engineering Division Director’s Choice Award and the 2004 Family Care Engineering Engineers Making Major Impact (EMMI) Award. Pamela is a Life Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She is currently a member of Phi Psi Omega Chapter in Forest Park, OH, where she served as President from 2015 - 2016 and was recognized by the Great Lakes Region with the Margaret Davis Bowen Outstanding Alumni Chapter President Award. She is also a member of the Queen City (OH) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated; where she served as Treasurer.
Pamela is married to William Dyle V, enjoys running half marathons, snow skiing with family, serving as an Alumni recruiter for her Alma Maters and volunteering with her parish, St. Joseph Catholic Church. She resides in Cincinnati, OH.
