Dr. Angelque Gloster Waller

Angelique D. Gloster Waller, MD was raised in Chicago, Illinois by a young single Mother who, despite her age, was a strong advocate for education. Dr. Gloster Waller found her love for STEM subjects when she attended Whitney Young High School in Chicago. It was at that time that she decided to pursue a career in the medical field.

She matriculated at Spelman College, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Pre-Med. She then went on to attend Morehouse School of Medicine and Emory University for Internship/ Residency in General Pediatrics. 

Dr. Gloster Waller’s work experience is quite varied. She has been in practice since 1992, working in Atlanta and Minnesota before landing in Cincinnati. She has worked in private practice for the past 15 years, and before that, worked at local Federally Qualified Health Clinics (FQHCs) for several years.

She enjoys teaching and treating patients in various environments, having served as preceptor for school nurses, medical students, residents and nurse practitioner students. Dr. Gloster Waller has also volunteered her time and skill to benefit the underserved population of Haiti. These medical missionary trips have been a highlight of her career.

Dr. Gloster Waller currently practices general pediatric care at Cincinnati Children’s Primary Care facilities. She treats everyone as if they are family, taking time to address all concerns, never rushing patients, and making herself available for follow-up questions and care. She enjoys caring for newborns to young adults. Dr Gloster Waller finds the growth and development of all age groups fascinating. Through experiences within her career, motherhood, and surviving breast cancer, she understands the importance of quality healthcare, continuity of care and proper communication between providers and patients.

Dr. Angelique Gloster Waller is married to Dr. Paul Waller, she is mother to three beautiful daughters and bonus Mom to three amazing young adults. She’s a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and loves to help the community through volunteer service projects organized by her sorority chapter. She enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, traveling with her husband, reading and listening to music.
